Matt & Monica came to us with something deeply personal: a memorial half marathon to honor the lives of Kylie, Tyler, and Natasha Spellicy, lost on July 17th, 2025. They needed a brand identity and website that could carry the weight of that mission while rallying a community to show up, run, and give back — with 100% of proceeds going to the Sylvan Beach and North Bay Fire Departments.
We worked closely with Matt & Monica to build a website and visual identity that honored the Spellicy family while driving registrations. The site needed to tell a story — not just list race details. From the course map to the memorial messaging, every element was designed to move people to action: sign up, show up, and support local first responders.
The 13.1-mile out-and-back course along Oneida Lake kicks off at the Brew Haus, winds through Sylvan Beach village, and turns around at North Bay Fireman's Field. We designed the race day experience end-to-end — check-in flow, course signage, and the after-party with live music — making sure it felt like a celebration of life, not just a finish line.
